I've been so busy lately, it's been insane. To put this in perspective, I have been too busy to even go on Tumblr. It's just got really real in here. (I'm also really tired, so...my apologies).
But, I've been having mostly good times. I went to the big full ride scholarship essay competition at my future college a couple weeks ago...that was intense. Fun though, and there was good food. I won't know how I did until December, so I'm just waiting and stuff.
We've been having a lot of drama with our theatre company recently (oh the irony). Our director retired last year after 35 years at it (I don't blame him), and since then we've been desperately trying to find a new director. Apparently, not many people want the job. And we're really behind schedule, if we're even going to have theatre at all this year, and it's really stressing me out. So, that's...awesome.
Also, I'm getting an iPhone, so I'm super excited about that. It should be here next Monday, and it really couldn't come at a better time...my old phone is a piece of crap, and won't hold a charge for very long. Plus it keeps freezing up and the speaker buzzes incessantly whenever I try to make a call. And I also need a new iPod, seeing as how I've had mine for about 4 years, and it's also on its last legs. And I could use a new camera, so really, I'm getting all of those things in one little package-y-thingy. Plus I can finally play Angry Birds and Zombie Highway without jacking my friends' iPods and phones. Which I'm sure they'll be thrilled about.
And speaking of all that, I'm currently enjoying the new feature of iTunes that allows me to redownload all the absolutely ridiculous songs I bought when I was like, thirteen. It's totally awesome.
So anyways, senior year is crazy, but good. First trimester is almost over. My last first trimester. So sad. Eh...not really. Mostly I'm just stressed out and anxious. Plus I'm sad that I won't have enough money to get the Deathly Hallows Part 2 DVD when it comes out tomorrow. That really is so sad. But I suppose I'll make it through.
So, I'm gonna go work on more scholarship applications...or maybe check Tumblr for the first time in forever. We'll see. Bye bye now.
