I'm Totally Gonna Do This!!

At least, that's what I say now.

"This" is a 30 Day Drawing Challenge:

So, I'll work on that. But don't get your hopes up (because I definitely know you have, all you nonexistent readers).

And I'm Back

Writing went...well, it didn't go very far, let's just leave it at that.

So then I played the Sims, and it was lovely.

And then I got bored of that, and I thought, "Hey, I'll blog!"

So that's what I'm doing now. Duh.

For Christmas, my wonderful boyfriend got me a stuffed Dalek (it talks!), the Sonic Screwdriver of the Tenth Doctor (cos it's prettier than Eleven's), and a squishy stress ball cupcake. It was awesome. He's the bestest.

And the other day, we went out to lunch at a cafe that neither of us usually get to go to, but I love. Turns out one of our friends that graduated a couple years ago works there, and we got to visit with her for a while. Then we went across the street to a little antique shop, because we could. And he bought me an awesome teapot that's shaped like Big Ben (cos, you know, I'm a tad obsessed with England). It was awesome, and really sweet, and I lurve my new teapot.

Isn't that just adorable enough to make you want to vomit just a tad? That's what I was going for.

And now it's...well, in one minute it will be Christmas Eve. Yay! I love Christmas. It makes me very happy.

But now I'm very tired, and I want to go to bed.

So, goodnight!

I'm Trying To Write.

And it isn't working so well.

I really need to do this more often. Now that I've decided to be a writer and stuff.

However, what my brain is trying to make me write sounds like a plot for an episode of Doctor Who had a baby with George Orwell's 1984. And then had a one night stand with every other dystopian novel ever written.

Which is weird, and not like me at all. I'm just trying to see where it takes me, I guess.

Well, right now I'm blogging, which isn't really helping me write at all.

So, I'm gonna go back to that, I suppose. Or else, I'm going to get distracted by the Sims. Cos I bought that the other day. And it's very addictive. And distracting.

'Kay, bye bye now.

I Wish My Wifi Worked Better...

Bleh. Our new internet doesn't like me very much.

And my laptop, which is only two-ish years old (a year and a half, really), told me the other day that my battery is crap, and I need a new one. Well, not exactly in those words, but you get the drift. And batteries are apparently expensive! Not such great news for a soon to be broke college student.

Just had to whine about that for a bit, and I'm feeling slightly better.

Oh, no, wait, not done yet:

I hate winter. I'm sick of it. All it's good for is making me cold and sad and ill. No fun at all for me. Blech blech blech.

'Kay, I think I'm really done now.

Not much is up. Waiting for packages to be shipped. Waiting for myself to get some motivation. Just waiting, waiting on the world to change. Oh, wait, that's a John Mayer song. My bad.

So, what's new, what's new? Well, I always want to write stuff, but I can never think of what to write about, or any good storylines. It makes me really sad and stuff. So I'm just gonna keep thinking. Yep.

Today in my 2nd hour class, we went out to our local community charity organization to help sort and organize toys for the Toys for Tots program. It was actually quite fun, and there was the warm, fuzzy feeling of doing something nice for someone else. And I don't think I've ever seen so many toys. It was insane! I kept getting distracted; I do that a lot. You should see me in Wal-Mart sometime. Or really anywhere.

But anyways...still just looking forward to Christmas and the so-called holiday season. I've only got 4 more days of school left before a nice long break, so I think I can make it. Although I've already got three tests scheduled in those four days. Le sigh.

And tomorrow I get to sit in on the new member interviews for theatre, so that's the first of my new senior-ly duties to attend to. I'm very excited; it's a rite of passage.

Anywho, I'm either going to go to bed, or go back to playing Tiny Tower now. The latter's more probable at this point, sadly enough.

Ciao for now!

Who Has Two Thumbs, Speaks Limited French, and Completely Forgot They Had a Blog?

This moi!

Oh well, I'm back now. Apparently. Which isn't really to say that anything interesting has been going on. It's almost Christmas; that's the most interesting thing right about now. I've been busy buying and making and wrapping presents, and so on and so forth. So...yep.

One of these days, I'm gonna have to think of something interesting to say. Don't hold your breath.

Other than that, I've been busy getting ready for college and whatnot. Scholarship applications don't fill themselves out, after all. And I've been thinking a lot lately about what I want from life. Yeah, it just got all profound in here. I used to want to be an actress more than anything, but after a lot of logical thinking, reality checks, and prioritising, I've realised that perhaps that's not the best course for me. I still want to act as much as possible, but I think it's not the best career choice. As long as I can do it, for a hobby or whatever, I'll be happy. I don't need to be famous, and the more I've been thinking about it lately, the more I've realised that I don't even want to be a "star" anymore. Celebrities have no privacy, no life, are often publicly ridiculed and slandered, and that's on a good day. On top of that, their careers often put a lot of strain on their family lives and personal relationships. And if that didn't sound like a well planned out research paper, then I don't know what does. All I want out of life is to be happy; plain and simple. I'd still love to live in a big city, and I've decided more and more that what I want to do is write. I want to be a writer, and also probably an editor, preferably of a fashion magazine or big time newspaper. Mhm.

Now, whether or not this is more realistic than the other goal or not, I don't really know, but I can only hope that all works out in my favor.

So...that's about it, I suppose. And if there are any spelling mistakes, blame autocorrect.

Oh yeah, I got an iPhone. Au revoir!

Scholarship Applications Are Eating My Life

I've been so busy lately, it's been insane. To put this in perspective, I have been too busy to even go on Tumblr. It's just got really real in here. (I'm also really tired, apologies).

But, I've been having mostly good times. I went to the big full ride scholarship essay competition at my future college a couple weeks ago...that was intense. Fun though, and there was good food. I won't know how I did until December, so I'm just waiting and stuff.

We've been having a lot of drama with our theatre company recently (oh the irony). Our director retired last year after 35 years at it (I don't blame him), and since then we've been desperately trying to find a new director. Apparently, not many people want the job. And we're really behind schedule, if we're even going to have theatre at all this year, and it's really stressing me out. So, that's...awesome.

Also, I'm getting an iPhone, so I'm super excited about that. It should be here next Monday, and it really couldn't come at a better old phone is a piece of crap, and won't hold a charge for very long. Plus it keeps freezing up and the speaker buzzes incessantly whenever I try to make a call. And I also need a new iPod, seeing as how I've had mine for about 4 years, and it's also on its last legs. And I could use a new camera, so really, I'm getting all of those things in one little package-y-thingy. Plus I can finally play Angry Birds and Zombie Highway without jacking my friends' iPods and phones. Which I'm sure they'll be thrilled about.

And speaking of all that, I'm currently enjoying the new feature of iTunes that allows me to redownload all the absolutely ridiculous songs I bought when I was like, thirteen. It's totally awesome.

So anyways, senior year is crazy, but good. First trimester is almost over. My last first trimester. So sad. Eh...not really. Mostly I'm just stressed out and anxious. Plus I'm sad that I won't have enough money to get the Deathly Hallows Part 2 DVD when it comes out tomorrow. That really is so sad. But I suppose I'll make it through.

So, I'm gonna go work on more scholarship applications...or maybe check Tumblr for the first time in forever. We'll see. Bye bye now.

Woah It's Been Forever

Which is sucky. Ah well. the last, what is it, week? Month? Whatevs, anyways, in the time that has past, I've gotten accepted to the college I very muchly want to go to (yay!), I got a haircut (very scary at first, but it worked out well), watched Paranormal Activity (just scary in general), and started watching 30 Rock (which I am doing right now).

So, as you can see, lots of big steps in my personal and professional life (okay, even I don't know what that's supposed to mean, but hey, I'm sleep deprived).

I also just remembered I'm going to attempt to make ratatouille for my French class food day on Halloween. That should be interesting, seeing as how I'm not exactly a gourmet chef or anything. I'll keep you posted, though.

And..I guess that's about it. One of these days, I'm going to have to actually think of something interesting and lengthy to say.

Someday, perhaps.

It's Been A While...

It's been a long time since I said anything...some things have happened, I suppose.

The Homecoming game/dance weren't too bad...they were actually quite fun, to be honest. And the college I visited turned out to be epic and it's the one I'm definitely going to go to, so I'm feeling a lot better about that.

I've cleaned a lot today, but that's good, cos that means I'll have more money. I'm going shopping with my friends tomorrow, mostly to TJ Maxx and Barnes and Noble. I'm excited.

For now I've got Mountain Dew and Doctor Who (look at that, I made a rhyme), so I'm all set. And that's pretty much all I feel like writing at the moment, which is kind of pathetic. Ah well.

Bonne nuit!

Power Outages Are No Fun

Apparently, something on our street caught fire (not a house or anything) and caused the power to go out for an unspecified length of time. Awesome. That's just swell.

So it's pitch black in my house, my computer's nearly dead, and I'm gonna miss Grey's Anatomy. I am not a happy camper.

So, I'm going to watch Doctor Who until my computer's battery calls it quits, then probably end up going to bed, cause the lantern I commandeered isn't quite strong enough to read by or anything useful.

But anyways, I thought I'd take this opportunity to blog a bit before I do that. Tomorrow's the Homecoming football game. Yay. I'm going with some friends (mostly to support the marching band, as most of my friends, and my boyfriend are in it), but the weather's supposed to be really nasty and cold, so...not yay.

Then Saturday is the dance, of course. Yippee. I have so very much enthusiasm. But that morning I'm going to visit a prospective college, so that's good fun.

And today we had a big senior meeting about caps and gowns and class mottos and senior shirts. It's crazy to think that we're doing all this stuff. For as long as I can remember, it's just been information that we were not privy to, nor did we really care about. Only the first part's changed, to be honest. Well, no, that's not quite true, at least not for all of us. But still.

So, yeah...that's my news and stuff. I'm gonna go enjoy the last 33% of my computer's battery life. Yep.

Why must everything be so difficult, all the time?

I needed to order an eBook for my online college class. I haven't done it yet, due to a mixture of laziness and insufficient funds. So, I finally got around to doing it, maybe a half hour ago...I got it ordered just fine and whatnot, they sent me both a confirmation email and one with steps on how to get to the book I just bought. I click on the link, it asks me for the password, I type in what they told me to in the email...and I get an error message that says something is wrong with my account, and I need to contact customer service for further assistance. So, I try a few more times, do various things, nothing works.

So I go on the customer service website and after maybe ten minutes, FINALLY manage to fill out the form and get it submitted. They sent me an email back saying they'd look into it and let me know.

I'm so frustrated right now! I'm already kind of behind, because technically I should have bought this book about 3 weeks ago. And I was hoping to maybe start doing some stuff this weekend, so I wouldn't feel so guilty about it.

But apparently the universe had other plans for me. Bleh.

So, I guess I'll just go do some more laundry and wait for the boyfriend to get here so we can watch The King's Speech and season one of Sherlock. And hopefully eat snacks, because, like usual, I am hungry. I think the anger makes me want to odd.

Knitting and Doctor Who: It's Good for the Soul

I feel guilty that all I seem to do is watch Doctor Who...

Well, kind of guilty...I mean, it's not like I have any other things to do. I mean, sure I could clean my room, or get started on my mountain of laundry I'll be conquering tomorrow, but for right now, I'd rather just sit back, relax, and enjoy some timey-wimey goodness.

Because I've had a busy(ish) week, and I deserve it. Or something.

Today in my fifth hour, I ended up teaching half the class to knit. Yep. Because in Fiber Arts, we're carving our own knitting needles (weirdly therapeutic) then knitting scarves with them. Seeing as how I have half a scarf already, and everyone else is still tying themselves up in knots trying to figure out how to cast on stitches, I got delegated the task of helping them all learn it. Turns out, I'm not a very good teacher. Good thing I wasn't really considering that for a career option.

Going along those same lines, that reminds me, there are some incredibly unintelligent people in my French class, and it seriously makes me angry on the inside. I'm going to leave it at that, really, but...agh! Apparently it infuriates me that not everyone is as smart as me...and yes, I do realize how pretentious that sounded...I did that on purpose.

But today after school, I went to Wal-Mart (yay Wal-Mart!) and got brownie mix, Swedish Fish, manicotti, chicken fried rice, giant knitting needles, and some blue yarn. Moral of the story: don't go shopping when you're hungry. But anyways, I'm in the process of knitting myself a blanket. It's about 4 inches long so far...cos 100 stitches kinda takes a really long time to get through. And I didn't really think about it until later when I got home, but the big, soft, fuzzy yarn I got is definitely TARDIS blue. Makes me happy, in the nerdiest way possible. And you know? I don't even care.

So, I'm gonna finish up here and go to sleep, because I'm very, very sleepy.

Bonne nuit!

My New Project?

I've spent much of my day looking at for Doctor Who pictures...I don't really want to talk about it, alright? Let's just leave it in the past...

But anyways, I came across something that I want very, very much, and as I'm fairly sure the one in the picture is hand-made, I guess that's how I'm gonna have to come across my own as well.

Maybe it'll give me something to do...however, most likely it'll just end badly. Ah well.
Yep. I hardcore want this in my life. Minus the stupid political button (though I'll have to add my I heart London one).

Also, I've noticed that, since starting this blog, most of my posts have been about Doctor Who. This makes me feel sad, and awesome, all at the same time.

That is all.

Week 2 Done

Today, upon arriving to my French class, having actually prepared for the quiz that was scheduled for today, we were informed that our teacher had, sometime in the last 24 hours,  quit. Lovely. And then we were all gonna change to Latin. I was actually quite excited.

And then in fifth hour, they tell us, nope, we found a new French teacher. Haha. GRRRRRR.

On top of that, we had fire drills in every single hour today...that wasn't very fun.

On the good side of things, in a couple weeks it's our 'spirit week' for Homecoming, and Tuesday was dubbed "Sci-Fi Day" (as if the people who made it that have any idea what sci-fi is, or have ever actually watched it). Anyways, me and two of my friends are going as the Doctor's companions. I'm to be Amy (of course), my friend Lauren is going to be Rose, and my other friend Sam is going as Donna (because no one likes Martha!). I'm actually quite excited for this, even though I previously trashed the theme. Okay, well, it's still a stupid theme, but I'm geeked for any chance to dress like Amy Pond (rereading that sentence gave me the strong urge to go out and get a life. Whatever that is).

So, yeah...that's about all the interesting things I have to say. So, I'm gonna go play Facebook Sims, and then watch Doctor Who til the wee hours of the morning (or like, ten, when I fall asleep).

Or, Why Weeping Angels Are the Scariest Things on the Face of the Planet, Probably.

So, basically, I've been watching Doctor Who all day. In my pajamas. It's been lovely. But anyways, I was watching 'Time of Angels' and 'Flesh and Stone', and let me just say (a fact I already knew, thanks to 'Blink'): Weeping Angels are absolutely terrifying.

Let's just think about this logically for a moment: If you're not looking at them, they could be anywhere. They move, literally, faster than the blink of an eye. If they touch you, you are immediately transported back in time to live out your entire life before you ever make it back to your own time, leaving behind your friends, family, everything you knew...that would suck a lot.

Not to mention, they're just plain creepy. I now get very nervous every time the lights flicker anywhere, and I'm a bit apprehensive about going to a graveyard where there are lots of stone angels around. I've also been known to stare down those creepy little lawn statues. And after watching Blink for the first time, I practiced how long I could keep my eyes open at a time...bad thing is, it wasn't very long at all.

So, that was just my random rant for the day.

As a side note, I very much want these two things:

Doctor Who TARDIS USB Hub

Doctor Who Desktop Dalek

Saturday, September 10, 2011

So, back when Pottermore was having the Magic Quill challenge (and if you don't know what I'm talking about, you probably shouldn't be here. Just sayin'), I got signed up for early access beta testing, and today I finally got my Welcome email! I'm so excited!

Although, I can't hardly figure out how to do anything, and from what people are saying is supposed to be happening, I feel like the only logical conclusion is that the site's not working quite properly. Because, it's obviously not my fault or anything.

I guess I'll just try again tomorrow. That ought to do the trick.

In other news, the new Doctor Who was was sad, and made me cry. Nothing new there, really.

Nighty night, (nonexistant) pals.

End of Week Update

Well, the first week of my senior year is over. I'm much less nostalgic about it now. Mostly I'm just tired and want it to be the weekend. Sounds about right, doesn't it?

Let's week, so far. Well, for my schedule, I have 3 art classes, French 1, and a free hour. A pretty easy courseload, if you ask me.

My first hour is Art by Design, and so far it's...I'm not really sure, yet, to be honest. We're working on the Principles and Elements of art (same as in my fourth hour), which is quite dull stuff, to be honest. Although, the first day, we did make cookie dough, which was delish, and today we walked a block and a half to our local art gallery to peruse the new exhibit, which was quite fun.

Second hour, I have French 1A. It's...sheer bloody madness. It's an ITV class, which means most of the time, our teacher is in another school, and broadcasting to us and a couple other schools via cameras and microphones. The first day (and today, actually) we could not see our teacher at all. His equipment wasn't working right (heh). On top of that, he can barely hear our class because of our ancient and faulty microphones. One of the other school's class ends about halfway through ours, and the other school's ends maybe twenty minutes before ours, so then we're left sitting there with nothing to do for quite a bit of time (not entirely bad, though it is odd).

Third hour, free hour. Beautiful rest and relaxation period after the craziness that is French. Today I went to Wesco and got slushies and Doritos.

Fourth, Drawing. Again with the bloody Principles and Elements. Though I have to say, that class has more fun projects with the subject than my first hour.

Fifth, a class called Fiber Arts... It's very interesting. At the moment, we're making metal and fabric 'storyflowers'. I'm too tired to explain.

Today, we had a stupid pep assembly the last twenty minutes of school because there was an away football game against our supposed arch rival school. We always lose to them, but hey, at least we can psych ourselves up for that, yeah? Don't get me wrong, it's not like I have no school spirit. I just don't have very much.

Although, at a place where our new theme for Homecoming is 'Outer Space/Star Wars', I feel I can hardly be blamed for that. Being a nerd, you'd think I'd be more thrilled about this, but Star Wars is like, the one nerdy thing I don't geek out over. I've never actually seen it, yet. Now, if they wanted to have a Doctor Who themed dance...well, let's just say, no one would be able to stop me from getting a TARDIS blue dress, complete with all blue accessories. But hey, that's just me. other news, I got an eReader, which I am very psyched about. It's super cool, and I love it. I just finished the book Thirteen Reasons Why, and it was suuuuuper amazing. Definitely not a feel good read, but spectacular. I finished it in less than a day.

So, I guess I'll go back to my mini Doctor Who marathon now, before I fall asleep on my computer keyboard. Au revoir!

Rant #2

Well, my last first day of school is over now. It was a half day, which I find quite stupid. I had a really good day, though, and successfully managed to hold off any tears and morbidity until I got home.

And then I was sad again.

Cos I realized that this is it; I'm never gonna have a first day of high school again. It's all over. Hasta la vista, baby.

Granted, I've got, what, 180 days til graduation? Still...the nostalgia of this event can't be overlooked. I decorated my locker for the last time. I greeted my friends again, fresh off of summer break, for the last time. I swapped schedules and class times with people for the last time.

Now, I realize I'll probably go through much of this in college as well, and maybe even at the beginning of the next trimester, so it's not as if I'll never ever do it again, but it's still a momentous occasion, and I'm a little more than a little overemotional today.

It's so weird now, telling people I'm a senior. It really hit me today when I was checking out my French textbook, and had to write down my grade. For a moment I was confused, trying to remember which it was, until I looked at my friend's entry above mine and realized I had to write a big fat 12. The end of the line. That's it, nothing after that.

And looking around at all the freshman, wandering around in a daze, trying to find their lockers and friends and classes reminded me so much of my very first day of high school. I remember that my mom and I picked up my best friend before school, because we were both too scared to go in by ourselves for the first time.

Now it's like flesh memory, go in the same doors, take the same route to the same locker, use the same combination, get out the same binders, go to the same place and talk before class starts. But in so many ways, sometimes, I still feel like that scared little freshman girl, all wide eyed and innocent and terrified.

And, look at that, I'm getting all metaphorical and nostalgic again.

But it's just so weird for me. And there was the added bonus of not knowing, up until today (and we're still not quite out of the woods yet), whether or not my theatre company would be active this year. Our director retired after 35 marvelous years with us crazy people (I do not blame him, though I can't help but be sad about it) last year, and with all the budget cuts and having to secure a new director, we were very worried that it wouldn't take place at all.

Luckily, it seems as if they've gotten a new English teacher to take his place. My friend and I went to meet her today during our free hour, and she seemed really nice (plus we totally go to suck up to her, so yay for that).

And I certainly know I'm going to miss theatre the most after I'm gone. For the last three years, I've given heart and soul, sweat, blood, and tears for that company, and I'm planning the same, if not more, for this year. I love acting, and I'm also coordinator of Hair and Makeup, and co-coordinator for Decor. I've made so many wonderful friends over the years, as well. Some I've already had to say goodbye to, and others I've got one more year with, but no matter what, it'll nearly kill me to let go at the end of this year, or so it feels sometimes. I'm sure I'll live a full, healthy life (I hope anyways) and that my ghost ceremony at the end of the year (long story) does not, in fact, kill me. However, I know I'll be leaving behind a big piece of me in that empty theatre. It's been my life for the last three years, and it's defined my high school career.

But here I go getting nostalgic and weepy and poetic again.

So, for a little cheerfulness, I'll say this: I absolutely love my first trimester schedule so far. Three art classes, a free hour, and French 1A, and I've got close friends in each hour, so it's a very good start to my (hopefully) fabulous senior year.

Bye bye for now, then.

Firsts and Lasts

Well, tomorrow is the first day of my senior year.

My last first day of K-12 education.

It's so weird. I don't know what to think. I mean, on one hand, I'm psyched because, you know, it's finally senior year, and I get all the perks that come along with that, etc, etc. And of course, it's also exciting to be thinking about college and getting ready for that.

But it's also really scary.

I mean, I'm leaving behind everything that I know and that's familiar to me (or I will be, anyways). I know it's a bit early to start freaking out about all this (technically, I've been freaking out since the beginning of last year), but tomorrow's basically the beginning of the end, for all intents and purposes.

And of course, talking about college and stuff, there's always the obstacle of money. As in, how the heck am I gonna pay for all that crap? I'm not too keen on going into debt by $40,000 when I'm 22 and just graduated. Not at all.

Ugh. But I guess I'm gonna wrap this up and rant more later, because someone else wants the internet now.

Social Networking is Ironic

No, seriously.

I mean, people spend so much time posting or tweeting or reblogging, commenting and liking and favoriting, etc. that they forget to go out and actually have a social life.

It's silly, and it was just something that happened to pop into my head earlier today.

I'm not saying I see a problem with this. I just think it's ironic.

That's all.

Things I Like...

  • Red nail polish. Or sometimes pink.
  • Glitter.
  • Broadway soundtracks, and singing along to them.
  • Harry Potter. Fangirl since I was six years old, mhm.
  • Doctor Who.
  • Reading. Fiction is the best.
  • Autumn. Definitely the best season of all.
  • Facebook. It's true.
  • England. I've never been there, but I am definitely going as soon as I can. Heck, I even wanna live there sometimes. I like their accents, their food, their books, their flag...everything.
  • Love.
  • Music. My favorite artists are Paramore, Taylor Swift, Florence + the Machine, and Sara Bareilles.
  • Shopping.
  • Shoes! I have 40 pairs in my closet to prove it, too.
  • Writing. Hence the blog.
  • A Very Potter Musical/Sequel
  • Eating. And food.
  • CHOCOLATE. It is the best, hands down.
  • The color blue.
  • Theatre.
  • Acting.
  • Singing. Even though I'm not so great, it makes me happy.
  • Clothes. I have way too many. See also, shopping and shoes.
  • Being creative, whenever possible.
  • Art.
  • Movies. Moulin Rouge, The Phantom of the Opera, Sweeney Todd, Tangled, The Nightmare Before Christmas, all Harry Potters, and Titanic are my favorites, among others I can't seem to think of right now.
  • Books. The Gemma Doyle trilogy, Harry Potter, Ghostgirl, Emily the Strange, the Help, the Secret Life of Bees, Such A Pretty Face, Confessions of Georgia Nicolson, My Sister's Keeper, Wuthering Heights, Hamlet, and Romeo and Juliet are among my favorites.
  • Glee, Grey's Anatomy, How I Met Your Mother, Doctor Who, The Middle, Gilmore Girls, Everwood, The X Files, Modern Family, and Raising Hope are some of my favorite TV shows.
  • Makeup.
  • Being a ginger. Unfortunately, I'm not one. I was for a while, but it was too hard to maintain, and it wasn't really the shade I was aiming for anyways.
Well, I suppose that'll do for now. I'm already enjoying this blogging thing! Haha. :P

Also, I changed the title of it to the name of one of my favorite Regina Spektor songs. I'm sure it will change again, but for now, I'm good with this.

Because I Was Bored, I Started a Blog

Sounds legit, right?

I thought so.

Also, I couldn't think of what to name it. So I gave it a crappy name, to be changed whenever inspiration strikes. I hope it's soon.

So. Um. Hi, guys.

Well, okay, actually I lied a little (I'm not off to a good start, am I?). I started a blog, yes, because I was bored, but also because I like writing. It's true, that is in fact, something I quite enjoy doing a lot. Sometimes I really don't care what I'm writing, or where, I just want to write something.

So, I thought, blog. Voila. I am quite the genius, aren't I?

Alright, I've ranted enough (see what I mean? Ranting is fun, it's good for the soul).

Anyways. Hi. I'm Lizzie. I'm a nerd, you may have noticed (I've only said it 300 times in my profile and blog stuffs).

Um...the rest of the stuff I'll cover in my next post. Yep. Bye bye!
