I Moved

On the internet, I live here now.

I just felt like moving. I wanted a different sort of focus and such, and I felt like it'd be better to start from scratch.

So...yeah.

Bye!

Hrm

Perusing Etsy all weekend really makes me want to be productive and make things.

The only thing I can actually do halfway decently is knit, so knit it is!

In other news, hi, I just remembered I have a blog. I tend to forget that a lot. Probably because I can never think of anything interesting to say.

Which isn't really true, cos as I'm typing this, I'm thinking of a kajillion and five things I should say.

I'm really excited, because I've found two of my three roommates for college next year, and they're super awesome, and I can't wait to meet them. And on top of that, I signed up for the Leadership Safari thing my school does, so I get to move in a week early in the fall, and hear interesting speakers and stuff. I'm excited for that.

Plus last week it was announced that my theatre company is going to be doing The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe for the spring show, and I am so flipping excited. I can't wait!!

True chiz.

Also, I'm going to try to start up the blog challenge again, and as usual, it's going to take me like, six months to finish a 30 day challenge. I really need to work on that.

But for now, I'm going to go eat some Cheetohs and either continue to peruse Etsy, or actually go do something myself.

Fail?

Don't ask me why I randomly went incommunicado for a couple weeks; I have no idea. I've barely even been on my actual computer all this time too.

Yesterday was my birthday; it feels kind of weird to be a legitimate adult now. Nice, but strange.

And I finally got my Kindle today. I'm so happy. :) I can't wait til I can get my checking account set up and start buying awesome books.

I've also acquired a roommate for next year. She's an awesome girl, and I'm looking forward to meeting her in person in a few months. I think it will be a fun year.

I guess that's about it, other than to say that I'm (hopefully) back now.

Huzzah!

Day 21: Your Favorite Color

My favorite color is blue. Like, almost every shade of blue.

I love bright, clear sky blue, robin's egg blue, the deep, murky blue color of twilight.

I love the quiet, calm sort of blue that happens at dawn and right before sunset. Then there's the inky blue-black at midnight, that's nice too.

I like ice blue, and the syrupy blue of a blue raspberry slushie, and TARDIS blue. I love the sad kind of greyish blue when it rains.

I like the royal blue of my class ring, and soft, baby blue, and the blue that's hard to explain on my favorite cardigan.

I like blue. Blue is good.

Day 20: If You Had A Time Machine, Where Would You Go?

I would most likely go to the past. I would go to Revolutionary France and chill at Versailles. I would go hang with Vincent Van Gogh, and Shakespeare, and Agatha Christie, and all those cool people. I'd check out Victorian London. I'd go way, way back to the beginning and see what really happened. It'd be a grand time, really.

And I'd do it all while wearing a fez. Cos fezzes are cool.

Day 18: Your Dream Wedding

Coming from someone who used to be one of those little girls who sat around planning out their weddings and families and what they were going to name their kids (in elementary school, I was going to have two boys and a girl: Harry, Ron, and Hermione. Things have changed a bit), this is probably gonna be a long post.

My dream wedding... Well, the colors would be ivory and ice blue. My bouquet would be 12 lillies with an ice blue ribbon around them. My bridesmaids dresses would be ice blue silk:

My engagement ring:
My cake would be a three tiered red velvet cake with a raspberry filling in the center and cream cheese frosting. (Now I really want some cake).

It would be in the fall, maybe September or October, in a traditional type church with stained glass windows and pews.

And of course, my dress:

Yep, that sounds good to me. I'm sure there are a million other details I could think of, but I save that stuff for when I'm actually planning the wedding. Yay!
